So, today I will be staying home with my boys until Daddy gets off work. The mommy guilt has not hit with a vengeance yet.

Brynn update: up a tiny bit on weight, they increased her feedings to 26 ccs... I get to try non-nutritive nursing today, meaning she gets to practice but they don't expect her to get anything yet.

I woke up and slipped downstairs for a few moments of alone time... I passed both boys sleeping soundly. Within ONE minute of coming down here, they are both awake. That makes it breakfast time. Later.

The first Grandma shirt... the hit of the NICU

  2. Cute shirt! What’s the tube in her nose for? Is she still breathing on her own?

My snow forecast yesterday was way off. The snow in the morning was gone an hour later, but it started again in the afternoon. We had 2 inches on the ground when I left work at 4:00. It took me over 2 hours to make my normal 15 minute drive because of a wreck. I got home at 6:15 and measure the snow 6 inches deep in our yard.

  3. The snow is really nice to look at on the trees behind our duplex, and the drive in this morning wasn’t bad.

  8. Since they move it from her nose to mouth, I wonder if she gets a little salty taste at the start.

  14. Said the robin to the sparrow: 'I should really like to know why these anxious human beings rush about and worry so.'

Said the sparrow to the robin: ' Friend, I think that it must be that they have no heavenly Father, such as cares for you and me. '

'Cause if His eye is on the sparrow
when it comes to me and you
There is no place He won’t go
    And nothing He won’t do.
Like a mother cradles a child
    His grace covers us somehow.
    So whatever you go through
God will take care of you.

The Lord strong and mighty, The Lord mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. 10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
