100% chance of a shower tomorrow
Not even a whole ounce short of 4 pounds... amazing. Brynn nursed great again yesterday... she's still on the cannula. I guess they just want to take it slow...oh! but BIG news! She has been moved out of her isolette into an open crib! They were wanting to wait longer, because normally babies have to be bigger to maintain their own temperature without help. But she was so hot in that incubator... so they had to move her... ha! Overachiever.
Currently Toby is acting like he really wants to cuddle with me. But actually, he is just trying to get to the laptop. Stinker.
And in case you haven't heard, I have a BABY SHOWER TOMORROW. And YOU are invited.

Pretty soon her weight will be double her birth weight..

Wish Josh & I could be at your baby shower! : (
Today at MOPS group, our craft was growth charts! We hot-glued a measuring tape on a long white board & decorated them.. it was so fun & a special memory piece to put marks on as Keith grows. Neat idea for a MOPS craft.
Saaaaweet videos!
ReplyDeleteBack to work... old folks be calling me.
Some monetary gifting shall be sent by the US postal system in the very near future.
Due to a power outage, only one paramedic responded to the call from a woman about to give birth.
ReplyDeleteThe house was very, very dark, so the paramedic asked Kathleen, a 3-year-old girl, to hold a flashlight high over her Mommy so he could see while he helped deliver the baby. Very diligently, Kathleen did as she was asked.
Heidi pushed and pushed, and after a little while Connor was born.
The paramedic lifted him by his little feet and spanked him on his bottom. Connor began to cry.
The paramedic then thanked Kathleen for her help and asked the wide-eyed 3-year old what she thought about what she had just witnessed.
Kathleen quickly responded, "He shouldn't have crawled in there in the first place........ smack his butt again!"
