  10. I got 70% on Katie's quiz, who can top it?

The back-up blog. I feel very regular, so why am I here?

  11. Very interesting.

So how come you can get a backup blog to work & not the regular blog? I take it that it's not just a blogspot problem.

  12. Why one blog and not the other: (copied from the other blog)

One works and the other doesn't because of server hosting. A huge site like blogspot has many servers that host different parts of the site, with different blogs on each server. The server that this one is on was broken, but they still had other servers running that could handle other blogs, or allow you to create a new one.

It's like a tornado hitting a town (website) and damaging a couple blocks (servers) of the town. You can get to the town (blogspot.com), but not to the houses (blogs) on the block that was hit my the tornado. This blog was on one of the blocks (servers) that got damaged (along with many other blogs I'd assume).

Following the tornado example, you could even build a new home (blog) in the town (website), but couldn't get to your old house (this blog) until they repaired the blocks (servers) where the old house resides.

This has been a free tech lesson by Josharoo. I hope it has enhanced you day.
